Dolarización. ¿De qué estamos hablando?

Resumen


El debate sobre dolarización es uno de los temas centrales de la literatura económica. Sin embargo, este término es a veces impreciso debido esencialmente a que se utiliza para calificar diferentes aristas de un fenómeno. El presente artículo tiene el objetivo de contribuir a esclarecer este concepto. Adicionalmente se presenta una reflexión en torno al debate sobre elección cambiaria en economías dolarizadas.
