Migraciones y remesas familiares: veinte hipótesis sobre el caso de Cuba

Resumen


Las remesas familiares constituyen el fenómeno económico menos estudiado entre los nuevos procesos de la sociedad cubana, a pesar de que en la práctica estas han actuado desde los años noventa como uno de los principales componentes de la “nueva economía ” del país. Hacia este aspecto de la economía cubana se encamina el análisis de este trabajo y adelanta algunas hipótesis sin dejar de señalar la ausencia de estadísticas precisas, por lo que estudios empíricos posteriores establecerían la veracidad de estos planteamientos.
