R e la tiv o  a la « a g e n d a  O b a m a » , se  co n sta ta  la  d is c r e p a n ­ cia  en tre su  d is c u r s o  d e ca m b io s y  la  c o n tin u id a d  del a g r a v a m ie n to  d e la s te n d e n cia s e v id e n cia d a s . / The present paper analyzes the non-absolute exhaustion and
the loss of leadership of the US as to science, technology
and high-tech services, all of them main components of the re­
productive model of the so-called “society based on knowledge".
It approaches one of the less studied aspects: the increasing
questioning as to “the comparative dynamic and systemic"
advantages of the transnationalized monopolist capitalism,
strategic pillars of the US domination policy and, in that
sense, the interrelationship o f hegemony, competitiveness
and reproductive cycle with a tendency towards decreasing,
which aims at a long systemic-structural crisis in the met­
ropolitan foundations of its productive forces. Concerning
“Obama's agenda", there is a corroborated contradiction be­
tween his speeches about transformations, and the steadiness
of the aggravation of the demonstrated tendencies.
